Upon entering design school, I didn’t know much about typography and still am learning what it is all about. What I do know is the importance of typography and layout in design. Typography can be so detailed oriented and so interesting when you start to look at the details of the letters and personalities it projects. It can also make a huge difference if your work. Choosing the right font as well as placement and the use of words themselves together, will help you communicate your message effectively whether it’s on an interface, print, product or presentation. On the bad side, if not used well, it can also hurt the message too. The poster here gets to the basics.
